DIMES is a US/UK field program aimed at measuring diapycnal and isopycnal mixing in the Southern Ocean. The main goal of DIMES UK3 cruise was to survey the Scotia Sea in search for tracer (trifluoromethyl sulphur pentafluoride, CF3SF5) and to perform microstructure profiling.
