Some photos taken onboard the research cruise ARA Puerto Deseado during the three week oceanographic cruise to the southern Patagonia continental shelf and slope. The cruise was partially funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and South Atlantic Climate Change (SACC) consortium. The main goal was to determine the physical mechanisms that control biological processes in highly productive regions of the western South Atlantic and their variability from intra to inter-annual times scales.
